Braun – New ET 66 Calculator for Dieter Rams

We restructured Brown’s ET-66 Electronic Calculator designed by Dieter Rams to new one with modern viewpoint.

It is the design to maintain the identity of original design as well as to consider user’s convenience with little changes in product material, battery mode, print type, button size etc.

The reason why his design has been continued to the present. We look forward to have the moment to think once again about the sustainable design in another meaning .

디터람스에 의해 디자인되어진 브라운사의 ET-66 전자 계산기를 현대적 감각에 맞게 새롭게 재탄생시켰다.

고유의 디자인 아이덴티티를 최대한 지키며, 재질, 배터리 방식, 인쇄 형태, 버튼 크기 등의 작은 변화를 통해 사용자가 보다 편하게 사용할 수 있도록 배려한 디자인이다.

그의 디자인이 현재까지 이어내려올 수 있는 이유. 또 다른 의미의 지속가능한 디자인에 대해 다시금 생각해 볼 수 있는 계기가 되었으면 한다.
