Product Concept
“Touching colors” is the concept behind OMMO crayons. We use an educational approach for recognizing the colors and shapes of objects by associating touch and sight. For example, children can learn the shape of apples with their fingers and eyes and then associate apples with the color red. From 13 to 24 months, children are still developing their fine motor skills and learning how to hold various items. Let OMMO crayons be your child’s first crayon. They are easy to hold and helpful for developing fine motor skills.

사소함의 유아 브랜드인 OMMO에서 첫 제품인 OMMO 크레용을 출시했다.
“색을 만지다.”라는 컨셉으로 촉각과 시각의 연상 작용을 통해 사물의 형태와 색을 인지할 수 있는 교육용 크레용이다. 단순히 색을 칠하기만 했던 기존 미술 도구에서 벗어나유아가 크레용을 사용하면서 눈과 손가락을 통해 색과 형태를 알 수 있어, “사과는 빨갛고, 사과 모양은 이렇게 생겼어”라는 것을 학습시켜줄 수 있는 것이다.
본 아이디어의 출발은 시각장애아동들이 교사나 주변의 도움 없이 미술 수업이 힘들다는 것에서 출발하였는데, 일반 아동뿐만 아니라 시각장애 아동, 색약 및 색맹 아동들 모두가 사용할 수 있는 유니버셜 디자인을 접목한 것이 가장 큰 특징이다.12개월에서 24개월 사이의 아이들은 아직 정교한 손가락 사용이 익숙하지 않은 시기이기 때문에 OMMO 크레용은 아이들이 쥐기 쉬운 조약돌 모양을 취하여 소근육 발달에 도움을 줄 수 있도록 한 “내 아이의 첫 크레용”이다.
